The Sunday School program at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham offers students an opportunity to gain a better understanding of their Catholic faith and traditions. The goal of each class is to go beyond mere content knowledge. Rather, inspired by Our Lady, we seek to ponder these mysteries in our hearts and so come to a deeper and richer encounter with our Lord and his Church.Click here to learn more about

Open RegistrationOur Children's Faith Formation Sunday School program offers two sessionsfrom which to choose.
Session I - 8:15-9:15 pmorSession II - 9:45-10:45 am
These times have been designed so that our families have alternatives to
attend a morning Mass at the Cathedral.The registration process involves two steps:
1. Register each of your children into their appropriate classrooms.2. Complete the Family Registration.Please note that each Catechesis of the Good Shepherd classroom must be capped at
15 or 20 students dependent upon the level. Once the class has reached maximum capacity, you will have to choose the other session.The cost of the program for the year is as follows:
$75 for one child,
$100 for two children, and
$150 for three or more children.

Sunday School classes
The catechists use a variety of textbooks and resources to help the students understand different topics, and a few classes will require the students to do some homework during the week.
The following courses will be offered this year. We are in Year A.Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham
Course List for Sunday School 2025-2026Grade Age Course PK-K 3-5 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Atrium Level 1 several classrooms divided by age1-3rd 6-8 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Atrium Level 2 several classrooms divided by age1-2nd 6-7 *Sacramental Preparation: First Communion
Students must be 7 years old to receive first communion. They may join this course when they are 6 years old. This age requirement might be waived by the rector on a case-by-case basis.2nd-up 7+ *Sacramental Preparation: Confirmation
Students must be at least 7 years old to receive Confirmation, though we have preparation courses for all age levels. Confirmation Preparation is a separate, monthly Saturday course.4-5th 9-11 Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
