~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham parish Prison Ministry makes weekly visits to the offenders of the Pam Lychner State Jail located in Humble, TX.
As volunteers, we share the love of Christ through education, fellowship, and the Sacraments. We hope you will join us in this corporal work of mercy.

To Become a Prison Ministry Volunteer:
Prayerfully discern the call to prison ministry
Obtain a written endorsement from your pastor
Complete parish Safe Environment training by visiting CMGconnect.org
Using the dropdown, scroll to Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter and click Go to Organization. Register for a new account and follow directions. Training is renewed every 3 years.
PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve previously completed OLW parish training, please let us know so that we can verify your status.
PLEASE NOTE: If you’ve previously completed training with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, you must use an alternate email address from the one you used with ADGH to successfully register for a new OLW account.

Training is renewed every 2 years-alternating online and in-person.As a Volunteer:
Your name will be added to the Pam Lychner State Jail access list.
You will have an opportunity to visit the offenders and assist with- Celebration of the Mass - 1 Saturday per month 8:15am-9:15am
- Eucharist outside of Mass - 3 Saturdays per month 8:15am-9:15am
- Christian Initiation - Saturdays, 9:30-10:15am
