Seven Sisters Apostolate

The OLW Seven Sisters prayer groups officially began their service on July 22, 2023.

The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop—a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ.

Each year, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Walsingham (OLW) needs 50 women who feel called to pray one Holy Hour anywhere in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament on a distinct day of the week for one of our six priests and Bishop Lopes. The commitment is for one year and you may pray anywhere at any time on your designated day for your specific OLW priest.

We are currently seeking additional weekly intercessors as well as substitutes who can occasionally cover Holy Hours for regular intercessors:
